Whilst Mark's race at the 2008 Challenge Roth Ironman distance did not go to plan, what with being freezing cold in the pouring rain and not going under 9hrs (9hr 35min), Michelle raced strong to get a 35 min personal best and go close to 12hrs! They have now entered the Challenge Roth event for 2009 as they thought the race was awesome and Mark has some unfinished business!
